The Spiritual History in Moldova Hall
The "Spiritual History in Moldova" Hall is a corridor featuring six autonomous wall showcases. In these showcases, historical and spiritual data are presented schematically, arranged by centuries, highlighting over six centuries since the recognition of the Metropolitan See of Moldova by the Patriarchate of Constantinople. The exhibition emphasizes:
- Parallel lists of rulers and bishops grouped by years of reign/pastorship;
- Highlighting prominent political and spiritual figures, emphasizing the political leaders (rulers) and religious leaders (bishops) whose actions contributed to the country's development;
- Territorial changes, with administrative-political boundaries often overlapping with ecclesiastical jurisdiction;
- The political and spiritual capitals of the country;
- Major political and religious events for each century, as well as religious milestones of the corresponding period;
- Saints, spiritual leaders, and pious individuals who marked their time, as evidenced by documents, oral tradition, and popular culture;
- Founders and benefactors from each period, showcasing other cultural or political figures who contributed over time to the creation of places of culture and spirituality.
