Permanent Exhibition

At the official opening in 2016, all seven rooms were designed as the museum’s permanent exhibition. Over time, we realized that the diversity of religious objects held by the Metropolitanate of Moldova and Bukovina deserved to be showcased to the public. As a result, the Founder’s Room was initially transformed into a contemporary art gallery, where artists could exhibit various religiously influenced works created by them.

Next, the room named "Calea Crucii" was transformed into a space for temporary exhibitions, and in 2018, with the opening of the exhibition dedicated to the canonization of Saint Joseph the Merciful, the "Sinaxar" room became a space for temporary exhibitions. In this room, 3-4 temporary exhibitions are held annually.

Since 2022, the room named "Ofrandă" has also become a space for temporary exhibitions, and in 2023, the "Baptistery" room followed suit.

Thus, at present, only two rooms host the museum's permanent exhibitions: the "Ekklesia" room and the "Political and Spiritual History of Moldova" room.
