From April 15 to May 15, 2025, the Metropolitan Museum of Iași hosts the exhibition “ We bow, before Your Cross, o Lord, and we praise and glorify Your Holy Resurrection”—a visual and spiritual testimony to the power of sacrifice in the light of the Resurrection.
This exhibition places the Cross—the central symbol of Christian faith—at the heart of its narrative, as a sign of perfect love and of Life’s triumph over death. Through sacred objects, icons, books, and archival materials, visitors are invited to rediscover the mystery of the Cross and the Resurrection as living and enduring realities throughout the centuries.
It is an invitation to contemplation and gratitude, as well as an opportunity for spiritual elevation in the light of the two great truths of faith: the redemptive suffering of Christ and the victorious joy of the Resurrection.
